What is Living and Loving Well [LLW]?
LLW is a course for men and women of all ages and walks of life, who are interested in learning more about themselves. It's a series of exercises founded on the principle that the people and experiences in our lives are determined by our childhood observations. Unless taught otherwise, we'll continue repeating these old behaviors until we 'redefine' our role in the world per our own spiritual insight.
Living and Loving Well affirms the reality that life can be lived on your own terms by creating a strong personal foundation. In a nutshell, it defines YOU.
What is a 'Spiritual Blueprint'?
A 'spiritual blueprint' includes Core Values (or guiding principles), supporting Life Statements and a strong Relationship Model. It's is a MUST for everyone, an essential first step to self awareness that helps you make confident decisions, attract healthier relationships, increases inner happiness, and allows you to live life according to your own principles.
How did LLW get started?
Living and Loving Well was created in 2001 by founder and lead instructor Joseph Stuczynski. Joe had been working for 10 years in a successful career as a Sr. Project Manager in a Fortune 250 Company. As a PMI certified PMP, he was accomplished in his field and enjoyed the work, but felt unfulfilled in the day-to-day activities. A portion of his responsibility was to develop the strategic direction of the IT organization, so it was here that he recognized the power of establishing effective values and mission statements, which can tremendously impact an organization.
During this same time, Joe was searching for answers as to why he attracted unhealthy relationships in his life. While therapy and self-help books had their benefits, there was still a mystery as to how to prevent old patterns from repeating. Joe embarked on a personal quest to solve the problem, which is how he developed “Living and Loving Well”, a method that combines core values, personal mission staements, and one’s relationship model as the basis for creating positive life change. He realized that applying some of same proven corporate skills on an individual level can establish better decision making, as well as a focused set of tools for every man and woman to apply to their own lives.
Stuczynski believed he had created something that could help millions of others struggling with the same personal dissatisfaction. In June 2007, Joe made the life changing decision to leave the security of a successful career, took a risk and financial leap and wrote and self published “Living and Loving Well’, a ‘field guide’ that details his philosophy for living a well defined life. “This was the most empowering decision I’ve ever made.” said Joe “My success is no longer measured by the number of projects I complete, rather by the number of lives I positively change.”
Is LLW like life coaching or therapy?
The Living and Loving Well course is NOT therapy or life coaching, although it's a great pre-cursor or complement to both because it provides ones "Spiritual Blueprint", which can be used to guide ones decision making process and goal setting.
What is a life statement? Can you give an example?
A life statement can also be called a personal mantra or mission statement. It's a phrase that supports your core values and life categories, written in your own words, and about YOU. Life Statements are truly unique to each individual. Once created, life statements should be repeated daily.
Example: I honor my individuality, creativity and faith, so that I will continue growing as a self aware, rooted, and compassionate human being. I recognize the importance of being flexible and seeing life as a vast, limitless bucket of options.
